周磊，1979年11月出生，国家海洋局第二海洋研究所研究员，研究方向热带海气相互作用。2012年入选第二批国家“青年千人计划”，希望有一天能建立从天气到气候的“无缝”模拟与预报模型。

周磊在马里兰大学大气与海洋科学系就读博士期间，对季节内振荡的研究获得了最佳博士论文奖；在美国哥伦比亚大学地学研究所两年多的博士后，主要工作也离不开季节内振荡的机理研究、数值模拟的改进、对海洋的影响等等；作为国家海洋局高层次海洋骨干人才，他被引进到第二海洋研究所卫星海洋环境动力学国家重点实验室，目前参与的最重要项目为该实验室主任陈大可研究员牵头的“海洋—台风973项目”，他在当中承担的研究任务便是台风与季节内振荡的相互作用。
